There has been no wind, and sun from a cloudless sky all day. On a Sunday, it simply can not be possible to have better weather! So the whole day has indeed gone into the garden.
I cut the grass – hopefully the last time this year. Cleared a corner on the patio with of an old table and a lot of pots and whatever else adds up. Distributed a lot forget-me-not seedlings around the garden, some even planted in a bed. They are also planted in a part of my jars with scallions, so I expect a veritable shower of blue small flowers all over the garden in May.
I have painted some of my covered patio, so I can tie some climbing roses up before winter, I had hoped to to build the whole rose climbing frame by now, but it will be shown first in the spring. Planted a large styrofoam box for the Meadow rue (Thalictrum delavayi). I’ve had a single plant for a few years, it said that it selfsows willingly, but I’ve never discovered any small plants, so now I hope that an organized seeding brings more plants for the garden.
There was also time to enjoy lunch outside and sit in the sunshine with coffee and take in some garden foliage while the sun brightens the body, lovely!
